Ce système permettra ainsi de créer un véritable pont entre ces deux lieux emblématiques dans l’histoire de la musique. \nLe programme du concert visera à mettre en lumière la manière dont la musique de Bach a été redécouverte en France et en Allemagne au XIXème siècle\, par le prisme de l’esthétique romantique. \nLes orgues de la soirée\, le Sauer de Saint-Thomas (1889/1908) et le Cavaillé-Coll de Saint-Sulpice (1862)\, sont deux instruments exceptionnels qui ont été notamment les témoins de cet accueil de la musique de Bach par les organistes qui les ont joués à cette époque : Widor à Saint-Sulpice\, et Straube à Saint-Thomas. \nLeur ont succédé les organistes de cette soirée\, deux jeunes et brillants musiciens à la carrière internationale\, qui ont à cœur de faire rayonner leur instrument au-delà des frontières temporelle et géographique. \nFor this first concert of our season\, the organists of St. Thomas in Leipzig\, Johannes Lang\, and of St. Sulpice in Paris\, Karol Mossakowski\, will perform in duplex! #BachDuplex2026 \nEach musician will play his own instrument live\, with the sound resonating through the church thanks to a complex setup combining internet transmission\, screens\, and microphones.
